Keeping Evangelism Priority #1
At this time last year, Light for the Lost was thrilled to announce that more than $8.9 million had been invested in 2021 by Assemblies of God churches, families, and individuals to resource missionaries for evangelism.
The $8.9 million was a 40 percent increase from the previous year. During the last four months of 2022, the First Priority Miracle Challenge year-end campaign aimed to help meet every outstanding missionary request for evangelism resources.
This month we are again thrilled to report a significant increase of investment in Light for the Lost in 2022.
Nearly $9.2 million (an increase of 3.2 percent) was given by LFTL ministry partners! The lion’s share of that amount was contributed during the year-end campaign. Thank you so much for your great generosity to the mission!
“Because of this significant level of giving, dozens of outstanding missionary requests for evangelism will be fulfilled both now and throughout 2023,” says Rick Allen, National LFTL Director. “Our original mandate was to resource missionaries for evangelism. Our dear friend, Tom Greene, understood this and followed the mandate. We will always remain grateful to Tom, his forebears, and the Lord. Finally, we will remain steadfastly committed to our unique missions assignment.”
